Arts and Crafts Sculpture Workshop Well Received |

On Friday, November 1, 2007 there were statues of tennis and football players, dancers, people sitting, walking, skating AND a swan. Six members of the Woman's Club of Fullerton attended a small sculpture workshop with Lynn Dunton to make eight inch statues.
These new artists prepared wire forms (armatures) and shaped them into sculpture with polymer clay. Lynn said, "It was a joy to hear most of the group wanted to continue . I could not be more delighted with the trust, the friendships and the enthusiasm the club's workshops have been generating and the exciting plans for our 105th Anniversary Gala. I'm encouraging our sculptors to display their art there.
Our club has an awesome past recorded in our minutes and with our enervating new membership, ' I am Woman, hear me roar' is a great forecast of the community service we will continue by the sharing of our time and talents."
